Inserted blinds is a system when a blind (venetian, pleated or roller) is encapsulated within two or three glass panes, i.e. in an insulating glass unit. The movement of the blind, for a manual or motorised systems, does not compromise the insulating properties of the insulating glazing unit and is performed in a totally sealed environment. The exclusive characteristics ensure total protection against dirt, dust or weather conditions, and therefore blinds do not require any maintenance. One of most notable effects is sun protection this system can offer when blind incorporated in outer cell of insulating glass unit. If the outside glass is put as clear float not Low-E or sun-protection type the blind when closed reflects most of the sun energy. This is a good alternative to coated sun-protection glasses as offers greater sun-energy protection effect.
Recommended for advanced interior, alternative to coated sun-protection glasses.
